Look into my Eye’s, all eight of them.
We had an unusually large huntsman spider visit us, so we captured her and learnt a few things along the way.
No Spider’s were hurt or killed during this discovery.
We filled the container that we captured our Huntsman friend in and sent her to sleep with some CO2
Once she was in sleepy land we popper her under the Microscope and had a close look at her markings and how astounding a spider really is.
We found out this is a Shield Huntsman or more Commonly Badge Huntsman on account that amazing marking on her belly.
We had a close look at her spinnerets where she spins her spidy silk, her eyes, the Oviduct where she lays her egg sacs & of course the Fangs.

We worked gently but quite quickly under the Microscope to see the most prominent features before she woke up and made a move to exit the spotlight 🙂
After about 5 minutes, she was fully awake and crawling around, we took her outside and placed her under some loose bark on our Almond Tree where she could hunt without distraction.
