Nan, who loves Emily even more than her beloved Cross Stitch got Emily started on her first piece, she showed her how to get started with framing, the basic technique of starting and stitching and then let Emily decide what she would stitch.
Emily found some real focus & pleasure in her progress, supervision was not needed as Emily was already in full swing.
As we were getting ready to leave Emily decided that she really needed to take the piece home to finish what she had started.

Emily found a mistake in her L & Y and decided to unstitch her stitching and do it properly.
