We have started to work through our place values and used a resource pack from twinkle to get us started, what we discovered is that out handwriting is slowing down our Maths.
We’ll put some extra work into characters development in the coming weeks so it doesn’t bottleneck our maths progress.
This workbook sparked discussion about how we group numbers, allowed us to talk about numbers in the Millions, Billions and Trillions.
A worthwhile exercise and we’ll find some more examples.
